Welcome to Karger’s Regional Office in Malaysia

In 2010, Karger established a regional office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, thus providing a local go-to contact for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Since June 1st 2022, Karger Thailand Regional Office has been merged into Karger Malaysia Regional Office. WIth this merge, it enhanced the networking and communications for our stakeholders in Thailand with the rest of the Southeast Asia.

While striving to enchance the networking between different stakeholders, we continuosly adapting to the needs of different regions as it is important to us by providing tailormade solutions for every partner. Let us support you on your research journey, let’s build a partnership and bring your society and health sciences to the next level, or let us provide you with concise and customized products that summarize the most important scientific findings for you to apply in your job as a health care provider.


Karger@ FAOPS Congress 2022

Karger will be sponsoring free access to all delegates of Federation of Asia and Oceania Perinatal Societies (FAOPS) Congress 2022 which will be held virtually on 25th to 28th August 2022. This year’s event will be hosted by Perinatal Society of Malaysia.

All delegates will be provided a code upon registration to the event, the 90-days free access includes the following online journals:
  1. Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy
    (eISSN: 1421-9964)
  2. Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation
    (eISSN: 1423-002X)
  3. Hormone Research in Peadiatrics
    (eISSN: 1663-2826)
  4. Neonatology

Latest Open Access Agreements

Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University and Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University has renewed the publish and read agreement. This agreement allows both institutions to enjoy access to all Karger eJournals and limited contingent for full coverage of APC and Authors Choice publication fee.
With these additions, it adds to our growing list of institutions that have signed and renewed for 2022 including National University of Singapore, University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Chang Gung University and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Consortium. This is a positive interest towards contributing in open access movement.

Karger Hybrid Workshop@UKM, Malaysia

In support of Dr Abdul Latiff Library, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, to promote writing and publishing, Karger conducted hybrid workshop (physical and online) on 25th May 2022. The workshops shares valuable insights and tips on submitting papers to Karger journals and tips on overcoming rejections. We aim to attract more submission to Karger and help the authors to achieve publication.

Biomedicine Hub Pre-partner Cooperation

Karger have reached an cooperation agreement with Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (UIN). The cooperation provides UIN's authors opportunity to publish the work in Biomedicine Hub, access to our Karger eJournal Collection and online course "Starting a Publication Hub: First Step".
